Average customer review:Product Description
In this third story set in imaginary Corgiville, home to corgis, cats, rabbits and some eccentric families, Christmas is coming. Mr. and Mrs. Bigbee Brown warm themselves by the wood stove as they drink their tea. Mr. Chicahominy, his two wives, and mother-in-law live in a house overlooking the pond. During the season he puts his haberdashery on wheels, peddling by wagon all about town. Families make special wreaths for the animals, and age Dundee cake for months. Finally, on December 25, the parlor door opens to reveal a magnificent Christmas tree with lighted candles and shining ornaments.

Wonderful holiday book
This book is absolutely lovely. Tasha Tudor's trademark corgis are there, her intricate detailed illustrations, and warm feeling of nostalgia. I particularly like this Corgiville book because there are only a few words on each page, but they are high-level. I can read it to my 18-month-old without her getting bored with too many words, but at the same time, she learning to hear and understand beautiful language. Plus, with all the busy-ness of the holiday season, it's nice to be able to sit down with your child and read a quiet, well-done Christmas book together. Overall, the book is wonderful to look at and fun to read--definitely add it to your Tasha Tudor collection!
Corgiville Christmas is another winner.
Tasha Tudor has another winner with Corgiville Christmas - I have all her books - I collect children's books (waiting for those grandkids) and the Corgiville series is fantastic. The story is fun and the illustrations are amazing. I recommend all of her books for your collections.
Charming but blurry!
This is a charming story and the illustrations are painstakingly detailed but VERY blurry. Maybe this latest edition had a different printing process or something. The story is lovely but if the drawings in Corgiville Fair are a 10 these blurry pictures would rank a 3. What a disappointment! As a big Tasha Tudor fan I am dismayed that the producers of the book would put it out in such a state that I would have rate it so poorly.
