Another great sequel
Once again, Culpepper has captivated us with the Amazon nation of Tristaine. Her growth in Brenna's character is the central thread throughout the books, from frazzeled medic to respected leader. Jess continues to be the stalwart protector, not only of Brenna, but all things Tristaine. In an interesting developement, late in the book, we begin to see a side to Jess that one doesn't expect, and hopefully will be explored in the NEXT installment. (Don't want to give away anything here.)
Culpepper's writing is efficient as always and very satisfying as well. I have found that Tristaine is a world I cannot easily escape--nor would I want to!!!
This series is a keeper, to re-read and enjoy time and again. Let's get on with the next!!!
