everyone got it wrong... not the Airport series.1
this show has nothing to do with the Airport series.
everyone is wrong.
this is just a 60 min. show about the first men to fly the Concorde.

Wake up Amazon! Remove bogus reviews!5
The reviews here are mostly for Concorde: Airport 79 rather than this documentary about Concorde. I have no idea why Amazon is so asleep on this one! Anyhow the documentary is for anyone who ever flew, or wanted to fly, on Concorde. The most beautiful and iconic commercial jet ever to fly, she arrived just as fuel prices started to soar. Talk about bad luck!

Concorde the movie was rubbish. This film traces the history and last flight of the ultimate speedbird.

Top marks for the sheer hilarity of it all!5
Another one of those cheesy 1970s disaster flicks succeeds in entertaining in all the wrong ways! In this final outing(one presumes) of the AIRPORT series, the Concorde, with the Russian and American olympic teams on board is under attack from a billionaire arms industrialist whose wife has stolen secret documents detailing illegal arms sales to enemy countries. So what does he do? Attack the Concorde with a cruise missile, a fighter plane and a saboteur. As if this wasn't enough, the plane has to land into nets at Paris - one of the film's most memorable and funniest scenes! There's an impressive cast - Alain Delon, Sylvia 'Emmanuelle' Kristel(keeping her clothes on), George Kennedy as Joe Patroni, Eddie Albert being allocated the best seat on Concorde(! ), Robert Wagner and more. As far as the dialogue goes - examples as follows:

KRISTEL: Oh you pilots are such men! KENNEDY: They don't call it the cockkpit for nothing baby!

(later, as the plane is in emergency dive)SUSAN BLAKELY: Oh my god! Noooo! It's the worst thhhing they can do! Oh God please no we're going into the ocean, oh noooo!(speaking into a tape recorder)

I think one gets the picture. For the sheer audacity of it all, a must see! Highly entertaining in a camp, cheesy way!
