Customer Reviews
Unique, original, sensational
For serious lovers of music who pride themselves on the diversity of their collection and the vastness of their musical horizons, this recording is unavoidable. The immense range of influences displayed in the music here goes from the early Baroque to the very latest in electrical music production. Any music collection worth it's salt is incomplete without this.
I want MORE!
I've had Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas music for several years and finally decided to listen to what else was "out there". I splurged and bought this set and I'm very happy that I did so. I write and do artwork on the computer and there's nothing better than putting on one of these CD's to transport me to a magical place that allows me to be as creative as the music is. I fully intend to buy more albums by Mannheim Steamroller.
Innovative, exciting music
Chip Davis of Mannheim Steamroller is one of the founding fathers of new age music, and to this day produces the best of the genre. These early recordings are magnificent, combining modern sounds and/or rock beats with medievel, baroque, classical, and romantic period forms and tonalities. The result is a refreshing and exciting musical experience. You deserve to have these historic recordings as a part of your cd library.
