a music lover down under
i cant beleive that a "best of" album wouldn't contain, sundown,if you could read my mind and the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald. surely these songs would be 3 of his best of. a good selection none the less, but it was dissapointing not to hear 3 favourites on the same album. david
A classic Lightfoot collection
When i saw this online, i also saw another review posted by a david, he was dissapointed that sundown and if you could read my mind where not on here. I should point out that this is a best of his original work from his first 5 records, songs that clearly established him in the industry, and songs which i have never grown tired of listening too.
Get another collection.
These are obviously good songs, but if you're looking for his bigger hits, spend a few more dollars on "Complete Greatest Hits". It's twice as long, and includes "Sundown", "Carefree Highway", and many more. Even "Gord's Gold" is better than this.
