A fabulous collection!
Boogie-woogie fans rejoice! This is a fabulous collection of piano masterpieces recorded between 1928 and 1930 by such lesser-known artists as Bob Call, Romeo Nelson, and Rudy Foster. If you've only heard the playing of such celebrated masters as Pete Johnson, Jimmy Yancey, and Albert Ammons, prepare to have your horizons expanded. These guys are no less amazing at tickling the ivories, and the sound quality is remarkably good considering the age of the recordings. A must buy!
