It's more like Polka music...
I bought this CD thinking that it would sound more like french accordion music played at Paris cafes. Unfortunately, it was more like Polka music played for folk dancing....very disappointed.
This is a great CD for those who love or wish to discover
traditional French music, called Musette. I'm French and live in the US. This CD has brought back the memories of the music my grand-parents and parents loved to listen to and, yes, dance to. Musette was very popular (and is still played in France) and people used to go to "le bal Musette" on Saturday nights to not just listen to the music but dance to it as well. It's really fun to listen to this CD! Well done!
Very good sound
I needed a sample of accordion sound for my collection. This is a very good sample, with wonderful sound & a few outsatanding selections.
