This twenty-five-song compilation contains Houston's early to mid 1950s output for John Dolphin's labels, including a savage version of his trademark "All Night Long," two vicious takes of the saxophone national anthem "Flying Home," and sixteen unissued blowouts. THis album made me go get a saxophone. It's great. I saw Joe live a month ago in Vancouver BC and he still rocks out. Consumate professional too. Shakes everybody's hand and plays like the devil!!!!

Sax with Style
Met Joe Houston at New Years Eve Party. The party was dull until he came on. He plays the best sax I have heard in years. His enthusiasm and excitement took over the place. As must get item while they last. Soon he won't be around to make life bright and exciting.
