Customer Reviews

This disc ROCKS5
This is the only boogie-woogie disc I own, for now. I can't stop listening to it. Not all the tracks are great but let me tell you, speed limits are hard to obey if you have this on in your car. It's so good you'll find yourself laughing, the music is THAT fun. And Camille Howard could cut it up for sure. You begin to notice that a lot of hooks and trills are the same from song to song but it doesn't matter. This disc could make a dead man tap his foot.

Great CD!5
"Legends of Boogie Woogie" brings you some great Boogie Woogie music from the fabled Specialty label.
There's not a bad track on this rockin' album and it's easy to trace Rock & Roll's heritage back to these early Boogie recordings.
The sound quality is excellent and there are minimal liner notes accompanying the CD.
