Customer Reviews
If you like Ella - You'll like this
***1/2 My brother gave me a Jazz calendar and the cover for The Concert Years was on Jan's, so I thought I'd get each one as the year progresses.
If you like Ella (you probably know by now), and you like Ella's jazz - then you will certainly like this collection. Most of the songs on this compilation are pretty good. One or two though come across slightly lame - not unlike Frank Sinatra coming across as groovy in the early 1970's.
Spans many years, all live of course. Class act.
I might add: Wadibi-dee-doo-bop-bop-bop-bop-bop. Skiddly-daz.
