PREPARE TO SHAKE YOUR BON-BON!!!
Pure ecstacy!!! The price of this CD will take you on an all expense paid trip to the Carnival in Brasil. You're definitely going to need a big bottle of water - be prepared!! The opener (brazil Nao Seremos Jamais Du Seremos?)let you know that this is not just some tired party CD for a corny conga line. YOU WILL DANCE. AND DANCE. AND DANCE!!! Highlights are Prato Da Nolte, Viva Meu Samba, Pouca Saude..., Casa De Samba & Ganga Zumba Raiz. Still, each track is great!! The only issue I have is there is no clear info on each school of samba included on this CD. A little history would sell this better, in my opinion. Suggestion: Play this LOUD!!!
Carnaval or Not, you will definitely enjoy this CD!
I've owned this one for quite some time now. Each time I play it I'm reminded of the many beautiful things I experience in Brazil. The folklore, the people, the colors, the scenery... It is just an awesome collection that will serve as a prime in the joys of Carnaval and more... My favorite songs are "Viva Meu Samba" and "Cama, Mesa, E Banho de Gato". Enjoy!
Good CD....But not the best.
This was overall a good CD, however many of the songs start sounding monotenous after awhile.
