Classic Greek music4
I didn't especially like this c.d. when I first got it, but it eventually grew on me. It's about a quarter instrumental and three-quarters have singing on them. I do think the c.d. was put together sloppily (some of the song titles are spelled wrong and are written in a way that leads me to believe they were badly translated), but it is still very good. I don't know how old the songs are, but most of them sound like they're from the seventies. The c.d. isn't too "remetikioish" for non-Greeks, and it isn't too modern to create a sound that would leave some people out. I love the songs "Ki'an Lelao ine Psema" and "Ti Orero Miro" because of the beautiful singing and strings in the background. There is also an excellently fast Siftaki instrumental bouzouki song at the end. Overall, it's very good.

I say this is the one to buy if U wonder what is Zorba1
If U like to have an idea about what Zorba's music is, or u are researching Greek music then u may buy this CD as a reference, but I have to warn u that the quality of the CD's sound is terrible, ,,

If u would like to hear some great Greek music both some contemporary and traditional try George Dalaras and Haris Alexiou If u want a solid and sound advise whether or not to buy the CD ..I say this is the one to buy if U wonder what is Zorba's Music

Review from Casual Fan4
Traditional Greek folk music is a lot of fun. This particular CD isn't the greatest quality but it is worth a listen.
