Great classic Hawaiian music!
Another spiffy collection of rare Hawaiian 78s, gathered by the folks at Harlequin Records. Slow sugary instrumentals and ripsnortin' fast tunes are set side-by-side, along with sweet vocals and Polynesian jive. If you're into it to begin with, or curious about old-style Hawaiian pop, this disc will definitely not disappoint. It's really hard to find this type of Hawaiian music --even on the islands (!) -- so check these albums out if you can!
