Songs for All Seasons5
There are lots of music albums for kids available now, but I think one of the most timeless records is In Harmony. It shows the true talents of old favorites, such as the Taylor brothers and Carly Simon. I've listened to this record for as long as I remember, and even though I'm theoretically at the threshold of being an adult, I still listen to it when I can't sleep. This album is one of the reasons that I'm going to pursue a career in music. It's definately a good investment for your kids--something positive for once.

Wonderful Memories5
Like a prior reviewer of this album, I too am buying this cd because my father had given it to me when I was young (yes on good ol' vinyl). I too have many wonderful memories of this album. Especially the Doobies' rendition of the Wynken, Blynken and Nod, a poem my parents used to read to me when I was just a baby. Combine that with James and Livingston Taylor, Carley Simon, Al Jarreau and the wonderful line up on this album. Throw in the enduring cast of Sesame Street and you have an album that can't be beat for both children and adults alike.

I now have a newborn baby and I plan to give her this album as my father gave it to me 20 years ago. I am certain that she will get as much enjoyment out of it as I did.

All of a sudden life is good...5
I grew up on two things-- Sesame Street and my dad's music collection. He bought this album (yeah, I have it on vinyl!) when I was a year old because (he says) of James Taylor. All I know is I love it. There are some things that trigger really strong feelings in me, and this is the big one. Put it on, and I'm three or four again and life is good. Car payment? Job? Heck no! I want a horse, and I'm dancing around singing 'Blueberry Pie.' Folky, a little funky, all-around kid-friendly. I'd rather kids listened to this than anything put out by Lou Perlman. All those boys and girls running around in matching outfits and tube tops wish they had this staying power. A truly lovely album, and one that sounds as good today as it did twenty years ago.
