Great songs5
A great album with some terrific songs. A good mix of styles and artists. Bonnie Raitt's "Feels Like Home" is one of the prettiest songs ever. And Kenny Wayne Shepherd does a fantastic cover of the Rolling Stones "The Spider and the Fly" with the help of great blues artist James Cotton. Then there's the country smash by The Mavericks, "I don't care if you love me anymore", and Willie Nelson's take on the Satchmo classic "What a Wonderful World". And Andie MacDowell shows that she can sing just as well as she can act with "Sittin' by the side of the road". This is an album that will lift your spirits...recommended. And you don't even need to see the movie to enjoy this album...I haven't seen it.

Soaring feel good soundtrack with poor recording quality4
Top performers in all musical genres lined up to give us a great, feel-good soundtrack that's more memorable than the movie. Don Henley opens up with inspiring "Through your Hands." Another Texan, Willie Nelson, offers his own take on Louis Armstrong's, "What a Wonderful World." Overall, the music will get you on your feet and lift your spirits--and what could be more angelic than that???

Missing Songs Galour4
There are alot of songs missing in this soundtrack. I notice that "Goin up around the bend" by Credance is missing also. They played while Michael was riding in the far back seat of the beat up station wagon for the first time. To bad. It was a great song and one of their best. Glad they included the song Mcdowell sang at the restuarant. It was good too. I gave it 4 stars because of the missing songs. If they were included it would have been 5 stars plus.
