Great album, but not the best version
This is a very good hard rock album. It's very consistent, gets good sound, and has some variety. However, you're probably better off buying it as Stick It+5 import, which is this same album, but remastered in 1999 with bonus tracks.
TWO THUMBS UP!!!
An excellent raw metal garage album. If you like the sound of Motley crue's Too Fast For Love album then you'll love this! It's a totally different sound then Once Bitten or Twice Shy but it still kicks ass!!!
Early Great White
Gritty and primitive is how I'd describe it. Not quite the clean and practiced sounds you'll hear on Once Bitten, Twice Shy and Hooked for example but excellent rockin' tracks nonetheless. Played this one from vinyl on university radio station WUEC-FM while it still offered multi formats in the 80's and before full affiliation with Wisconsin Public Radio. "Substitute" is Great White's rendition of The Who's "Substitute" and is as well done as their Zeppelin copies are! For those in need of a CD to replace the well worn cassette here's your answer.
