Customer Reviews

Excellent performances, and variety of material.5
This release by Summit Brass is a wonderful addition to any brass recording library. The performances are extremely well executed, and the recording quality is exceptional (for studio sound). The Copland, Holst, and Ewazen pieces are particularly effective.

Fantastic!5
If I had to pick just one Summit Brass recording (they are all great), this would probably be it. Ewazen's Symphony in Brass is certainly one of my favorite brass ensemble compositions and Summit Brass's reading of it here is particularly good - reference recording quality. The rest of the disc is excellent as well; if you wish to hear what a world class brass choir should sound like, buy this recording! I've worn mine out!
