Marimba Magic5
This is a fine CD that comes from one of the most prominent solo percussionests. Evelyn Glennie makes percussion music of this caliber seem easy to perform.

Glennie shows her talent of improvisation in the first selection, titled "Michi". This is my favorite piece on the album because it shows the diversity of the realm of solo marimba.

I highly suggest this CD to anyone who wants to listen to marimba or percussion music. It's a great addition to any music collection.

Other albums I recomend are "The Music of Joseph Schwantner" and "Shadow Behind the Iron Sun". Schantner is known for his extremely radical yet amazing music. "Shadow Behind the Iron Sun" is one of Glennie's latest CDs that exploits her amazing improvisational skills (it is complete improvisation!).
