A Christmas album for year round listening5
This album is a treasure of music which is in season throughout the entire year. The combination of human chorals blended with breathtaking instruments used to produce ancient favorite carols and hymns provides an experience that will be repeated long after the the Christmas tree comes down. Warning, this album will replace your favorite Christmas album.

I love this CD5
I have owned this CD for about 4 years now, and it is my most favorite of all my christmas cd's. I love the reverence, the quietness, and the joyfullness found in this cd. It is not a cd with the sound of jingle bells, and rudolph, but more solemn -- i love to put it on, when the house is quiet-- light some candles, pour a glass of wine, and just sit and listen..
If you enjoy more adult themed christmas music, you should love this!!!

This is an Experience....Not just a CD5
If you are looking for a Christmas CD that treats the holiday with the reverence it deserves and very seldom gets, then stop looking for Christmas music...this is the one! This is the only Cusco album that I own and I think I just took a chance on purchasing it, but I've not regretted it for a moment. The sound is very reminiscent of the cover art on the CD itself; calming and soothing. It's so beautiful that it takes my breath away at times. I find that the best time to TAKE IT IN is after everyone has gone to bed on Christmas Eve; the house is bathed in stillness and the room is glowing with the Christmas decorations and candlelight. (I say take it in because this is an experience more than it is Christmas music.) I find myself looking out of the frosty windows staring at the crystal clear night stars; meditating and thinking what a beautiful gift the Christ Child is to us all. This music evokes those feelings effortlessly and completely stirs the soul with its mix of choral and instrumental arrangements. It brings you to the true meaning of the Holiday rather than sweep you away with commercialism. If this is where you think you'd like to be this Christmas then you need this CD.
