Byron is still going stronger than ever!4
Byron Stingily (former lead-singer of the trio group "Ten City" from Chicago) was one of the best house-music groups to hit the market, with classic hit's "That The Way Love Is" and "Devotion". After the group produced four albums, it's a real shame that the group broke up. Byron Stingily has blessed us with his first solo album, and it's a complete album covering various styles (club, r&b, underground house). His high-spirited vocals places an unusual gospel/soul/funk/disco flair to every soulful track on this cd. The producers involved with this album did a very good job, giving the true (club-headz) what they expect, but still also producing a couple of songs that the radio stations can (bump) on the radio (Top 40~commercial hits). If you are a "Ten City" fan, definitely buy this cd. I look foward to Byron's next album, I'm sure it will be polished to perfection.

Byron Stingily continues to be one of the greatest unsung heros of music of the last 15 years. The Purist is yet another example of the originality of Mr. Stingily's music. He blends lush musical ensembles to create a sound that uplifts the soul and refreshes the heart. This latest album contains hit after hit that you will want to listen to over and over again. It is truly a different type of music that I feel all should give a listen to. It has the ability to create a mood and take you to a very special place. You will be amazed that great music like this has remained underground for so many years!

This CD moves, it is a great mix of RB, Funk, House, Soul. Great voice and great beats for dancing or background.
