Customer Reviews

Good for the car, this is my second one3
This was the first 'car tape' that I bought for my daughter as a toddler, who is now seven. Her brother is three and loves it. It's got your basic Intsy Weentsy Spider and Wheels on the Bus and many others. It's highly singable for a small child, and I definitely recommend it. I've had it for years now and it finally died this am. I'm here to buy my second one, and will probably buy a third before my son outgrows it.

Some thoughts on the "christian' comments that are being made: There are only two songs that could be classified as such, with one (Get on Board) mentioning the word 'gospel' and the other actually being about God (God Made Me). The rest of the tape has no other God or religious references. Just your basic toddler musical fare.

I'm a non-practicing Christian married to a Jewish man, and neither one of us finds offense to this. I suppose if ANY reference at all to God is offensive to you, then don't buy this tape. But considering that my three year old doesn't know what the word "gospel" means and thinks that it's a train song, I hardly think that this is a problem.

And btw, the "God Made Me" song has no reference to the word "Jesus". "God" is the word that is used. So calling it "christian music" is a tremendous stretch. And you can take this opinion to the bank. I have all of the words memorized, against my will. This is the most played tape in our car collection.

I'm rating it a three because it doesn't have a fabulous musical score, and it's not creative in any way. But we needed something that had the ABC song on it, and the kids love singing with other kids. If you're looking for something that has great musical qualities and perfect pitch singing, look elsewhere. If you're looking for the basics, buy this tape. I promise that the kids will like it a lot more than you do! And that is the point, isn't it?

Buying this one and going to try out the preschool one too. What the hey, it's less than 4 bucks. If you hate it, it won't hurt to send it to the thrift store.

Cute CD of Classic Kids Songs4
This is a great collection of songs for toddlers and my son enjoys most of the songs on the CD. The only downside of the CD is that after a while it can become a little boring to him and me compared to his other CDs like the Wiggles. But if you are looking for some classics mixed in with some christian favorites for a cheap price then this is a perfect cd to add to your collection.

Great CD for preschoolers!5
I pop this CD into the player we have in our kitchen often, to give him something to listen to while painting or while I'm doing other things. The songs are fun, the kids who sing them aren't annoying, and there is just the right mix of traditional favorites combined with Christian songs for little ones. I highly recommend it!
