PERFECT for getting you excited for an upcoming HI trip!
I bought three different CDs when I was about 2 weeks away from my first-ever trip to Oahu. This one and one by Don Ho (the two discs came together in a set) and a third one I can't remember, something with "Pearls" in the title. Anyway, this one was the one that stayed in the CD player pretty much continuously. It was just the kind of stereotypical (in a good way) Hawaiian music I was looking for. Fun and light and that telltale slide guitar. I still play it constantly after returning from my trip.
Highly recommended for the purpose of upping your anticipation for a Hawaii trip. Whether it's super "authentic", I don't know, but it was perfectly in keeping with my expectation.
