Purely beautiful
This is one of those rare CD's that softly touches the soul. I am a massage therapist, and have used this CD with clients ranging in age from 20 to 75, city and country backgrounds, and wide-ranging musical tastes; everyone has mentioned how much they love the music. The native american flute & drums blend with the sounds of rivers, wolves, and birds in perfect harmony. I know there are a lot of Nature Sounds CD's out there, and I've sampled many. This is the only one I return to time after time. It has the rare ability to relax the listener AND refresh. It's too beautiful to induce sleep. But it's perfect for massage, yoga, meditation or simple relaxation.

Clean, clear uncluttered sounds
The flute is the predominant instrument used throughout and its simply beautiful. Nature sounds like running water, birds singing, compliment the flute. There are a few songs with drums in combination with the flute but its a very subtle background drumming. The pace of each song is slow and melodic, definitely relaxing. I've been playing this cd on my way home from work and it has really helped me to recenter myself each day. Simply lovely. Definitely recommmend it!

A beautiful CD, deserving a home in your collection...
I've owned copies of this album for several years, and just bought my another, since friends who hear it permanently borrow it. We're taking it to hospital with us for the birth of our first child. I've used it during Music Therapy sessions with patients that I've worked with who have severe developmental disabilities, with great results! We have a tradition of playing this CD first on Christmas morning. The music is soothingly serene, yet ripe with energy. So many "music with nature sounds" recordings are trite, but this brings the combination together with simple elegance. You'll turn to it again and again.
