Well done recital. Exceptional Instrument.4
I can not play a piano much less an organ, but I love organ music! James Welch is an excellent musician. He is technically adept with a good sense of tempo and full command of an organ. The Eule organ he plays in this recital is in a very "lively" room and it has an amazing range and depth of sounds. This instrument is SUPERB! If you like organ music as much as I do, try this CD but do not expect to like every piece on it. Welch chose two or three pieces from just about every type of music you can name. However, I bet you will find two or three tunes that will become your favorite...
