Wolga~Balalaika Ensemble
Excellent harmony along with the instrumental playing on the CD. My own special favorites on this CD include: "Gregor", "Russion Chant", with very special singing during the "Vetcherni zvon" you feel as if the evening bells are right outside. "Goback" is my very favorite on this CD, and I love to listen to it several times. An enthralling assortment of songs, and balalika playing. VEry highly recommend to any one who enjoys Russian songs and the balalika.
Fantastic folk instrument music!
I visited Russia October 2006 and am entranced by the music. The balalaika is a wonderful instrument and this CD is especially enjoyable. This CD is a perfect example of Russian folk music at its best.
