One of the best harpsichord readings
And it takes its rightful place next to the performances of Gilbert and Leonhardt. Plus, Robert Hill plays the great "unfinished fugue" where Gilbert doesn't include it (what's the point?). Highly recommended.
Art of the Robert Hill
This is one of my favorite harpsichord recordings of all time. I can be found frequently raving about it online and offline. Soon I will be sending transmissions into outer space.
It's so good that I tend to view it as a proving/disproving ground for various hypotheses: piano is not superior to harpsichord, vitality and "contrapuntality" are not mutually exclusive, Robert Hill is a truly great artist, etc..
His erstwhile website said that a WTC project was in the works, but that was years ago.
Hope beyond hope,

genius
Bach was one of the greatest, if not the greatest, musical geniuses of all time, & this is one of his most intricate works, featuring contrapuntal compositions of rigid perspicacity. & it feels fun to listen to!
