not bad for the price
These discs got bashed (individually) on Amazon for not being authentic. I would disagree - the music is very authentic, and, yes, they have limited fidelity which should be your FIRST clue that they ARE authentic. The female singer is not one of the best (her range is limited) but the music is very enjoyable. Listen to the sound samples, and you'll get the idea. I think this is a good deal for the money.

If you're not looking for any talent or particular artist, this is it. Also, the audio has an airy background like it's been recorded with a tape player from [a local store]. I do recommend compilations like: Arabic Grooves, Cairo to Casablanca and Desert Roses I & II!!!
