The Ultimate 6 Cd Reggae Box Set.
Customer Reviews
Great Reggae Mix
I consider myself a huge Reggae Fan and this 6-disc box set is well worth the minimal amount of money spent! It isn't anything too heavy and it isn't too cheesy. There are a bunch of pop songs remade Reggae Stylee but it makes for GREAT background music if lounging around the house or chillin' on your boat. A must buy...
Load-Up Lots of Tunes with Style!
This 6-Disc set has really beef-up my playlist with some classic Jamaican songs which will remain main stays on my playlists. The classic Marcia Griffiths' song "Survival" is worth the price of this set alone. Recording quality is over-all good with a few uneven tracks, notably one of Bob Marley's songs was too heavy on the bass (to my ears anyway...) Not all the discs loaded into my itunes with the correct track titles but the minor editing by following the song sequence on the box was well worth the effort. This set has turned me on to Marcia Griffiths and I'm adding her "Melody Life: Reggae Anthology" to my collection next....
