Editorial Reviews
From the Manufacturer
Top-selling level for brick and block contractors. Ribbed reinforced, sturdy aluminum box frame level with 3 fixed, crystal-clear non fogging acrylic vials (2 plumb and 1 horizontal) epoxy locked for life in place. Reads from top and side with 3000 vision range. Two milled measuring surfaces on models up to 48 in. Electrostatic dry epoxy coating cleans up easily with a bucket and a brush. High impact end caps have rubber grips built in to resist movement when drawing lines on walls and overhead. High strength, long life, certified accuracy. The standard for the level industry. Read overhead or in normal position. Can be dropped hundreds of times and still can be trusted completely. Length: 96 in.
Customer Reviews
One caution
The Stabila 96" offers great advantages for the frame carpenter. It's length allows you to plumb from sill plate to top plate, thereby avoiding the irregularity of most studs today. It's length also allows drawing lines full length on OSB. The length is also one of it's greatest enemies. It can easily be damaged in the bed of your truck by items stacked or thrown on top of it. The vial locations seem to create an especially weak spot. (Don't ask how I found this out). Great tool! Just be careful.
