Definitely Worth The Money
First off: Ana, I do not think you can objectively review this CD by just looking at the song list.
I bought this CD in 1993 as a student attending University, and I paid A LOT of money for this CD; it was also extra expensive because I got the imported Japanese version. It was definitely worth the money; for many years, I was one of the lucky few in Canada (and North America) with this CD. This was the only CD where you could hear Sarah Brightman sing such a wide array of Andrew Lloyd Webber's beautiful songs. I do not even agree that "The Andrew Lloyd Webber Collection" and "Surrender" CD's, which came years after, diminishes the value of this CD; I do not believe that you can find her singing "I Don't Know How To Love Him" (which is sung most beautifully) and "Any Dream Will Do" (which is a true delight) in any of her other CD's; the songs "Tell Me On A Sunday" and "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" (re-recorded for this CD) are different recordings than those of "Surrender".
Overall, this is a wonderful album for Sarah Brightman fans. My suggestion is to get the Australian version; it is cheaper than the Japanese version and has an extra song, "Amigos Para Siempre".
Sarah Brightman sings the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber
This is the first Sarah's Andrew Lloyd Webber Compilation album, am I wrong?
By now you should have other options like The Andrew Lloyd Webber Collection, Surrender, Encore or Love Changes Everything.
Buy it if you are a collector or if you are less complex and want just one album of Andrew's Music you could buy this one and play it in random instead of having the other 4 albums...or whatever.
I just want to recognize this album, besides the CD cover looks kinda cute, don't you love it?
Worth the money?
This CD has selections that appear elsewhere or don't appear anywhere else, but I don't think it's halfway worth the money if you've already got most of the songs on Surrender or The Andrew Lloyd Webber Collection. I don't have this CD but have seen the tracklist. Best for serious Sarah B fans.
