Amazon.com Product Description
Not your typical Saturday afternoon at the bowling alley--the characters from the classic cartoon The Flinstones careen through crazy courses in the hollowed-out centers of bowling balls. Once the game begins, you are in the driver's seat, aiming to knock down pins and collect gems. This 3-D arcade game has 12 different levels, each with varying difficulty. Open up extended areas of the lanes and qualify for bonus and hidden levels. Yaba-dabba-do!

flintstones bedrock bowling- playstation one
excellent game makes bowling ten times better then playing the old fashion way the game makes you think a little bit it open's up the imagination more so than some of the other games the playstation one came out with.
Better than most people might expect
My little brother and sister got "The Flintstones Bedrock Bowling" for Christmas, and from the back cover of the game, it didn't look like it would be that fun. But after I started playing it, I found out I was wrong. It's a different kind of bowling game, it's not just your typical stand and bowl and knock all the pins down. You choose from a few of the famous Flintstones characters such as Barney, Pebbles, and even Dino. You then bowl down steep hills and sharp curves, and on the way down to the bottom, you have to try to knock over 10 bowling pins, collect as many gems as you can, and find 3 birds. There are 12 different levels on which you must bowl through everything you can, and on the way, there are also some challenging bonus levels. It's also 2 player, which makes it even better.
Most of the basics are pretty good in "The Flintstones Bedrock Bowling." It has some good backgrounds and graphics, the music and sounds are good enough, and it can be a lot of fun. The control is also good, but it's a little touchy at first, but once you play a few levels you'll be used to it. The only downfall to this game is that it's way too easy. This might make it best for young kids who like bowling or The Flintstones. There are obstacles on each level such as dinosaurs running around, but you can't fall off the edge of the level and even when you fall in a lava pit which would seem deadly, it just takes you back a little bit and you have to do that part over. However, "The Flintstones Bedrock Bowling" is a lot of fun and I recommend it to anybody that likes bowling games. It's a lot better than just about anybody would first expect it to be.
NOT A CHALLENGE BUT ITS OKAY
I played this one recently during a visit to my sister in Ft. Lauderdale. The game may not be a challenge to expert gamers but it was fun and different. Do not expect a traditional bowling alley here, it is completely different and more like a racing game. The graphics are OKAY and sure it will be a collector's item to any Flintstones Fan. My only regret is related to the fact that the game has already been released to video stores for rent and don't know the reason why it was not released for commercial retail yet.
