Finally!5
I've been waiting for this CD for a long time. Sissy Spacek is one of my favorite actresses and Loretta Lynn is one of my favorite singers. Spacek did an amazing job in "Coal Miner's Daughter" and deservedly won the Academy Award. Unlike others who have played real singers (Jessica Lange in "Sweet Dreams" and Angela Bassett in "What's Love Got To Do With It"), she actually sang and did a perfect imitation of Lynn's voice. Beverly D'Angelo played Patsy Cline in the film and did an equally terrific job. One of the highlights is their duet of "Back In Baby's Arms." This CD sounds great and is an excellent companion to perhaps the best musical biography ever made!

You're Lookin' At Sissy...5
It is hard to believe this album took 20 years to be released on CD. Finally, the wait is over. Sissy Spacek's brilliant performance in the movie was nearly outdone by her own amazing vocals on this splendid soundtrack. From the opening, intimate vocals of the first cut, "The Titanic" to the final cut, "You're Lookin' At Country", the entire soundtrack is a complete treasure. In 1980 this movie and soundrack kindled a love for the music of Loretta Lynn that still burns today. Buy it, own it, love it.

EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT FIVE STARS * * * * *5
I LOVE this cd soundtrack. I also LOVE the movie and can't watch it enough. I love Sissy Spacek in it, and Tommy Lee Jones, and thought Sissy was extremely talented, not only with acting, but vocally on this. I bought Loretta Lynn's CD but I like this one better, no offense to those Loretta Lynn Fans, but this cd with Sissy singing just makes me feel like singing to it, and it puts me in a great mood. Excellent cd soundtrack, excellent movie, a must have, both cd and movie.
