Customer Reviews

if you're not a rap fan, don't be suckered2
any non-rap fans reading these reviews, there's only 1 song on this cd that's not rap. the song "follow me" is a beautiful catchy pop song which i heard on the radio. after reading customer reviews saying it wasn't just like kid rock, i bought it. if you are a rap fan & want it, i'll be selling my copy shortly after i burn a copy of "follow me".

Is that Kracker with a C? No, Kracker with a K!5
I got this one as soon as it came out. There is no mistake that Kid Rock had a lot of influence on this CD. People have asked me about the CD and how it is, I have put it this way... It is basically the lighter side of Kid Rock. However, it still rocks and is really good. Some say that it is Kid Rock singing the whole time. True that he is on a lot of songs, but Uncle Kracker sounds very similar to him. Don't be fooled. All you Kid Rock and Twisted Brown Trucker fans will definately like this one. Those of you who think Kid Rock is too hard, definately get this one. It is a good CD. My only complaint is that it is not long enough. A few more songs would really kick. Good songs include, "Heaven" (which is my favorite), "What'Chu Lookin' At", "Better Days" and "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah."

Uncle Kracker is one talented guy!5
Uncle Kracker can do it all. Not a Kid Rock wannabe, but rather a man who is similar to Kid Rock who contributes to the mellower side of the rap/rock genre without sounding like he's a desperate rip-off trying to follow the latest trend. Great tracks include "Yeah Yeah Yeah," "What Ch'you Lookin' At," "Heaven," "Who's Your Uncle," and my personal favorite, "Follow Me." The whole thing is just a great listening experience. If you have any doubts about Uncle Kracker's ability or his legitimacy, I hope I've put them to rest. Go buy this CD! All fans of rap/rock should love it, especially if you're tired of the furious pounding beats that can sometimes numb your senses. It's a great departure from the heaviest of rap/rock, as it's mellower than the rest without hurting the genre's credibility. I say it's worth the money.
