Customer Reviews

Good quality product5
My original piston was broken during cleaning so I went to all local hardware and paint stores where Wagner product are sold. To my surprise no one carries the piston repair kit including Home Depot and Lowes. I ordered it from Amazon and it was the original Wagner kit. Installation was simple and now my sprayer works much better with the new spray tips that came with the kit.

I'm satisfied4
I recently purchased Wagner's 2000 PSI Wide Shot for a repainting project. The project is a large home built in the 20's. It took 15 gallons of base color paint, and 4 gallons of trim color. The Wagner has held up like a champ and made short work of the project compared to brushes and rollers.

I read a previous review talking about worn parts on the sprayer. If you will adjust the paint viscosity to match the gauge included with the painter, you should have no problems. This was as simple as purchasing a can of "additive" for my paint, and stirring it in until it was the right thickness.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the painter, its ease of use, and its overall durability. This project was all detail work that couldn't be rolled and would have needed tedious brush painting. Thank you Wagner!

Pistons wear out too fast1
I recently purchased the 2400 PSI power painter from Wagner (not available on amazon.com as of this writing, and I have already had to replace the piston twice on a single project (painting my picket fence...I've used a total of about 4 gallons of paint, so far). I wouldn't recommend buying a power painter, unless you are willing to shell out about $20-$40 for replacement parts for every job you intend to do with it
