Customer Reviews
Nice little vise to small objects
I got this vise in order to hold my wood models when I am using my Dremel tool. It holds the objects firmly without denting them. I also love the flexibility of the ball socket. I can turn an object nearly upside down without having to release it from the vise.
I have had no problems with the suction because the surface I use it on is a smoot granite top. These types of suction devices do not work well on wood, so consider that before purchasing it.
I have yet to incur any weight issues as the largest block of wood I use might weigh 2 lbs.
This is a great little tool for carvers and I am glad I found it.
Wilton mini vise
I like this vise for soldering items-ten times better than those junk helping hands with alligator clips. You must have a smooth surface for the suction cup mounting for this vise. Holds everything in any position that you want, pcb board ,wires, ect. Great price too!
Poor suction.
This is about what you would expect from such an inexpensive vise. I was disappointed by the lack of suction. I can only get it to hold well on completely nonporous surfaces. If you have a Formica workbench then you're set. If it's laminated particle board then don't expect it to hold.
