Key features include horizontal and vertical mounting orientations, read and write compatibility with DDS-4, DDS-3, DDS-2, and DDS-1 tape formats, and Sony’s Hyper Metal heads to reduce error rates by up to 10 times over traditional ferrite MIG heads.
