Product Description

Perhaps the name "Fiesta" was chosen in 1936 because the famous collection comes in nine festive colors. The collection's solid colors all coordinate with one another, so feel free to mix and match. After all, what's a fiesta without mixing it up a bit?

Amazon.com Review
First manufactured in 1936 during Art Deco's later, less ornate phase, Fiestaware went out of production in the 1970s but returned in the 1980s and now enjoys unprecedented popularity. Older pieces fetch hundreds or even thousands of dollars at auction. The new line offers the original designs in contemporary colors at affordable prices. To complete a set of cobalt Fiestaware or complement your collection of multicolored Fiestaware, this curvaceous sauceboat is essential. Made of vitrified china with a gleaming, lead-free glaze, the sauceboat holds 12 to 14 ounces, measures 8 inches from spout to handle, and is both dishwasher- and microwave-safe. --Fred Brack

Customer Reviews

Buy two........5
I first bought this one in a light yellow and have used it weekly for some ten years for everything from gravy to syrup, to a large creamer for winter mornings when we eat more hot cereal and use more cream. I have even used it in the microwave to melt butter for ghee (India clarified butter).

The handle is a nice size for either a childs hand or a mans. It has a nice non tip balance for passing to the next person and is easy to clean because the inside is smooth and doesn't have any catch the crude areas.

I have since bought a second one in the sea mist colour. The colours by the way are even and beautiful and in my opinion are much prettier than and Ad picture shows.........

Good gravy!5
Well, I never thought I'd own a gravy boat, but here I am! Owning a gravy boat. As gravy boats go, it just sits in the cupboard and takes up space unless it's Thanksgiving or Christmas or I feel like cooking a turkey (Ha!). But it's very nice, easy to hold even when it's filled with hot gravy, and it holds a lot. Much easier to clean than any of those fancy metal ones.

Cobalt Blue5
I purchased this in Cobalt Blue. It goes with my Fiestaware dishes, as well as my Pzaltsgraf and Longerberger Pottery. I also agree that the color and glaze are beautiful, and much nicer in person than online. It has a large capacity, and pleasing lines. I'll most likely purchase an additional one in another color for larger holiday meals, to be able to use more than one.
