Amazon has Full Cycle on vinyl...
I'm amazed by the fact that I got some Jungle records through Amazon. Through The Eyes Vol. 2, is a 6 track compilation LP (3 X 12") from the Full Cycle Crew out of Bristol, UK. All the tracks are at home on the dancefloor, here is a brief rundown.
1/A - Lost Days - DJ Die: The slowest of the whole LP, starts off with some nice piano riffs, and then drops into a nice rolling (almost sounds like someone blowing into an empty glass bottle) bassline.
1/B - Samewayz - Scorpio(Size/Die): Has a nice "yes, yes, yes" sample, then goes into a frenzy of drum loops with a very "techy" bassline, the break has some kind of string instrument, then it all come down.
2/C - Answer Back - Roni Size: no frills "analogue" stabs, nice 2-beat bassline. Breaks down into some wicked breaks, very catchy tune.
2/D - Right Now - Kamanchi(Die/???): OH MY GOSH! My favorite cut on the LP. Eeerie basslines, drums for days and a "right now" sample that is not overused, keeping music evil.
3/E - AAA - Scorpio(Size/Die): This one is just bouncy, from the "wah wah" bassline to the laid back drum programming. Fun little roller.
3/F - Phase Datzun - Roni Size: This one is all over the place, very well planned song with a whole lot of "structure" to it.
