Only if you like Windows
I got the bright idea to try and install this in a Linux machine and so far have had no luck. I'm beginning to suspect that I'll have to rip it back out and put in my Windows box.

P.S.: It was missing the audio cable, but I wasn't planning to use it anyway.

Easy to use. Highly recommend.
I bought this one to replace my old 4x2x40 CDR. I am very pleased with it. It is easy to use and very fast.

Missing Cable

Useless. Arrived in sealed box without EIDE cable. Does not work as slave with Toshiba DVD-ROM SDM-1402.

Your basic 'Made in China' quality snafu. The factory might hear a complaint 3 months after the product left their dock on the slow boat to the land of opportunity. By then the labor has turned, and no one is responsible for shoddy business.

Don't buy it!
