There's rarely a warm seat in the house whenever the Wiggles command the screen. This time Greg, Murray, Jeff, and Anthony host 50 minutes of flash and pizzazz in Hoop-Dee-Doo! It's a Wiggly Party. Over a dozen vibrant song and dance routines will inspire 2- to 8-year-olds to "Dance the Ooby Doo," "Move Like an Emu," and embrace the true spirit of "Hoop-Dee-Doo!" As if the delightful energy generated by these melodic gents and their usual cast of extras isn't enough, huge kaleidoscopic backdrops groove along with each song. Then there's Captain Feathersword: often giddy to the point of falsetto, here the good captain's comedic antics nearly cause his pirate buttons to pop. But, hey--it's a party! So fluff that feather sword, shine those dancin' shoes, and prepare to wiggle up an hour's worth of giggles, polkas, wobbles, and hula steps. (Yes, "mums and dads" find Wiggles tunes irresistible, too.) --Liane Thomas

Hoop-Dee-Doo & Yummy Yummy are the best!4
My 21 month old loves the Wiggles!!! Out of the 4 Wiggles DVD's we have, the songs on Hoop-Dee-Doo aren't as catchy as the songs in Yummy Yummy. Yummy Yummy is a better DVD for the little little one's- less skits, more singing & dancing. As my son got older, (he's 21 months now) he favored Hoop-Dee-Doo. Hoop-dee-doo has much better effects and is more modern. More children are involved in this video and after the second or third time watching, you'll find yourself singing along. While Yummy Yummy used to be his favorite from 15-20 months old, Hoop-Dee-Doo is now his favorite. I'd recommend both titles. He couldn't sit still through the Wiggles Magical Adventure Movie... I'd recommend that one for older viewers. Dance Party is cute but definately outdated. After he got used to watching the other titles, he got very bored w/ Dance Party.

Good music, wiggling not so good3
The songs on this video are catchy just like the other Wiggles' tunes. But the video pales in comparisons to older videos like "Toot, Toot" and "Wiggle Time." The sets and the backgrounds are much more complicated than the ones in earlier videos, and many of the songs show too many children dancing on the stage. Both of these issues make the TV screen very visually complex, and it is difficult to focus only on the Wiggles. The beauty of the earlier videos is their simplicity. My daughter, who just turned 2, can focus on the Wiggles and imitate their simple dance moves in the earlier tapes. On "Hoop Dee Doo", there aren't many songs with simple dances--some of them are animated and have no dances at all. This tape does hold her attention, but she doesn't dance like she does with the others. With the complex visuals, this tape may be better suited for older children who like increased visual stimulation!

Our favourite Wiggles Video5
This is the latest video from The Wiggles - maybe I'm biased being from Australia but these guys are great. My girls love them (1 and 2.5 years)and dance and sing along to their favourite songs. Each song has simple dance moves so that your toddler can easily copy Jeff(Purple Wiggle), Murray (Red Wiggle), Greg (Yellow Wiggle) and Anthony (Blue Wiggle). Captain Feathersword (the friendly Pirate), Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus all feature in this video as well.
What I like about The Wiggles is that the guys really enjoy what they do, they have a great time singing and dancing for the kids and the kids love it. You can really tell they love what they do.
This video has lots of kids dancing and getting involved in the songs as well as one song which is all animation which is pretty cute - "Caveland".
