Customer Reviews
Wish I'd have gone!
I didn't go to this show, and I wish I could have. This show is top notch. If you're familiar with my "rankings" of the best shows of each year, then you already know that I consider this to be the 2nd best show of 2002 (as of August, at least). Only the 4/27 show from Jazzfest gets higher ranking from me.
The highlight of this show is the ONE-TIME ONLY version of the Allman Brothers "Ain't Wastin Time No More", but virtually everything else from this show is extremely well played. The band was "ON" at this show, and you should not think twice about buying this one.
In fact, if you have NEVER heard String Cheese, this is a really good place to start!!! And if you're already hooked on the Cheese, and you don't have this show, what are you waiting for???
flat out amazing
i went to this show, and it was downright phenomenal. the setlist is incredible, and the energy is unparalleled. what makes it so unique is 1)the first cover of ABB's "aint wastin time no more", 2)the sheer magnitude of energy existing, and 3)the level of musicianship of this great band. i recommend this to anyone tired of mainstream pop.
A Masteroiece, must have for any jam collection
This cd captures a truely amazing show. I whish I could have been at this concert. SCI really does an outstanding job with energetic grooves and phenomal jams. The cover of Allman Brother's "Ain't Wastin' Time No More" is excellent. And Disc One has probably the best version i have heard of "Best Feelin'". I baught this cd when I saw the great the set-list, and I am glad I did. This is definitely a must have for anyone who likes the Cheese or likes Jam Bands.
