Poniewaz - jak twierdzi rezyser Jerzy Passendorfer - legendy nie nalezy traktowaæ zbyt powaznie, w filmie jest duzo humoru i zabawnych scen. Nie brak widowiskowych bojek i walk, szalenczych jazd na koniu, a nawet upadkow ze skaly. Kazdy z 13 odcinkow opowiada odrebna, zamknieta historie. W sumie stanowia one opowiesc o przygodach zbojnickiej kompanii, do ktorej trafia Janosik.

The plot concludes...
This 2 disk DVD set contains the last five episodes (episodes 9 though 13) in the Janosik series. This film is in Polish with English subtitles. Filmed in 1974 and directed by Jerzy Passendorfer.

In these episodes, Janosik saves his friends from hanging, comes to the rescue of the poor villagers, and kidnaps the Duke's niece, hoping to ransom her. The romance between Janosik and Maryna builds, and in the last episode, they get married. However, the Austrian army captures Janosik and two of his men as they leave the chapel and then execute them shortly after.

Not the best example of Polish cinema.
Wooden action. Dead script. Made in the bad old days with Goral Janosik fighting class warfare
with the petty nobility. Dumb.

A pity Amazon does not attend to some of the post Communist era movies such as
