The new Nikon 7x15T micro roof prism binocular combines an incredible 5-foot close focusing distance with high quality, fully multicoated optics and a slim Titanium-alloy body housing. The handsome, satin gray color of the titanium barrels is enhanced and contrasted against a panel of black, rubberized material in the center of the binocular's bridge. Nikon's 7x15T is a sister binocular to the company’s recently introduced 5x15T.

The list of features on the central focus 7x15T binocular includes 12.0mm eye relief, allowing many eyeglass wearers to take advantage of the wide, 6.6 degrees field of view (345 ft. at 1,000 yds.) offered by the titanium binocular.

Nikon's 7x15T has rubber eye cups on the eyepieces that can be folded down for proper eye relief when wearing eyeglasses. These eye cups can be replaced with a second set of flat cups, also provided, for the convenience of the user who always wears glasses while viewing.

The extreme close focus capability of the top-of-the-line 7x15T was a result of an advanced mechanical design and a new, three group, five element eyepiece lens system. The Nikon 7x15T should prove to be a very versatile and valuable instrument for birders, butterfly watchers and other naturalists who rely on close-up observation of subjects. To further increase brightness and resolution, Nikon utilizes silver coated BaK4 high-index prisms with phase correction coatings.
