It's just not the Christmas season until I've given this disc a listen that year.
This is absolute desert island holiday music and it belongs in any Christmas collection.
Great way to enjoy Christmas
I bought this album years ago. It's such a great album, I give it out to friends and family often so they can enjoy it. It is a great way to celebrate Christmas. I ended up accidentally giving away my copy. Wynton Marsalis impressively puts his sound imprint on this classic theme. (Only his brother, Branford, is better.)
Crescent City Lost the Merry
Christmas time and the music is to be a time of happiness, comfort and joy. The music in this CD did not bring about any of these feelings. I found the Jazz numbers to far Left or Right of the main music theme, boring and non-uplifting. A disappointment.
