The grand style of Baroque cori spezzati (divided choirs) is featured with Heinrich Schutz’s Deutsches Magnificat and works by Praetorius. Also on the CD are motets by Bruckner and Distler, and Johannes Brahms’ Marienlieder. Seattle Pro Musica’s Women’s Schola performs medieval chant.

angelic a'cappella
Christmas music for those who love the human voice. The solos by Karen and Lee Maneman are close to flawless. Listen to these beautiful voices sing glorious music on a snowy Winter evening. It's pure Christmas enchantment without a hint of commercialization.

German Christmas music
Nice music but I wanted to hear more German. Some of the songs are
in Latin. I was somewhat disappointed.

Serenely beautiful
I received 'Weihnachten-A German Christmas'' in a timely fashion & enjoyed it thoroughly throughout the Christmas holidays. The music & choral pieces are superb & bordering in my estimation on the classical. It was both dignified & moving. I highly recommend this work to anyone who would enjoy a true 'German Christmas' ensemble. Mrs. G. Boos
