From the Back Cover
Buckle up for his award winning black comedy that takes you on a twisted journey of 3,000 miles, one murder for hire, and one last shot at fame and fortune! Failing film student Alex (Erik Palladino) is faced with an ultimatum: quit making Jackie Chan rip-offs and create a documentary with passion and heart. When he meets his mysterious neighbor Blue (Jennifer Rubin), a sexy hit-woman, she allows Alex and his tortured-artist roommate Lars (Billy Jayne) to come along to film her last "job" in Miami. What ensues is a cross between a wild road trip with a pits stop for target practice and severed toe cocktails, and an intimate through-the-lens look at what makes Blue tick. Will Blue be successful on her last hit? And more importantly, will Alex capture it on film and score his own big hit?

great road pic
reviewed by Bryan McFadden
The true strength of this film lies in its clearly defined and original characters. The film has a clear sense of direction and the motivaltional complexity of Blue's character is an asset rather than a liability. Jennifer Rubin gives a powerful performance as Blue, a killer who does not take herself too seriously, but suffers from deep childhood trauma. Rubin plays the character with a careful balance between passionate intensity and lighthearted humanity. As a result, Blue is an easily believable character who elicts the sympathy and respect of the audience. This film is rich with entertaining allusion, notably the refence to the nose bandage in Chinatown. A truly wonderful film.
