Sybille, a rebellious girl, bets a publisher that she can write an erotic masterpiece. Reading her work, he agrees and contracts to publish her book, promising that she can be anonymous. Sybille's chief problem is that she is a virgin. So she undertakes lots of "research," observing others and finally seducing her publisher. The book is a best seller - and he betrays her - intimating he was instrumental in the writing of the book and dumping her for her older sister. And of course, she's hopelessly in love with him. So she plays a trick to get him back.

NEA in English ( Not the French Version)
I viewed and enjoyed the french version over a decade ago and had hoped to buy and enjoy an english speaking version. The original french with subtitles was so much better, in part, for me due to the beautiful french language. Unfortunately the voice overs in English killed much of the original charm of the movie. I particularly didn't like either of the voices and on top of that the pictorial quality of the film was so very dark in places that you could hardly make out some of the scenes.
I would have been happier with it if I had purchased it in French with english subtitles. I could have possibly lived with the dark scenes if the english speaking voice over people had been better sounding but I wound up tossing it to the side when it was only about 2/3 over. Sad but true
Average film, not quite what I thought
This film has little to do with the "Emmanuelle" series. The acting is ok, the young lady in the title role was ok, but didn't really display much. I liked the original film better.
A Very SICK Film!
This is not your typical silly little soft-core erotic cinema, this gets into a shockingly heavy "fake rape" subplot that is extremely unexpected. Not to mention the 16 year old girl's father telling her to lie about the rape so his family won't go through scandal. Yep your typical American popcorn flick.
