About the Actor
Ronald Marquisee serves as producer of Cruising America's Waterways. He is president of Media Artists Inc., which he founded in 1969 to produce film, video, and multi-media projects. Prior to this he was a tenured associate professor at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications for 11 years, teaching courses in writing, production, and management. An award-winning writer and photographer, Ron is licensed as a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine Master.
Veteran singer-songwriter Jonathan Edwards serves as the series' host. And unlike many hosts of television shows, Jonathan is along for the journey - and even takes the helm of our Carver yacht - on this trip through the 1000 Islands region.
