Good story, superb performance, but....
....too bad this title is not available in English! Even the original Italian version of this, La Prima Notte di Quiete, has been only dubbed and/or subtitled in other languages except English. This is really one of the best of Valerio Zurlini's movies, it just deserves to be introduced to a wider market. Alain Delon was in a more challenging and interesting role, and he delivered a superb performance. The quality of this DVD is pretty good, however this French version runs 12 minutes shorter than most of the other versions.
