Amazon.com Review
With unpredictable spring snowstorms, growing cilantro starters can be risky. One unexpected frost can wipe out a month’s growth of delicate, new sprouts. Likewise, autumn weather often turns harsh before busy gardeners have finished harvesting. Rumford Gardener gives green thumbs respite from Mother Nature’s precarious weather, and extends the growing season with its lightweight, portable greenhouse.
The sturdy, tubular, steel frame assembles quickly with interlocking pieces. A protective, powder-coated finish helps resist weather-related damage. The clear PVC cover wraps around the greenhouse to insulate plants, while providing plenty of light exposure. The cover’s front panel unzips from both sides--so gardeners can roll up the front panel on warmer days and seal it at night. Four, wire grid shelves support trays of seeds, starts, and potted plants. Each shelf measures 27 by 18 inches, and holds plants up to 13 inches tall. A top shelf supports plants up to 19 inches high.
The greenhouse’s lightweight structure makes transport easy. During early spring and late fall, gardeners may opt to carry it outside for daylight hours--allowing plants the benefits of sun and fresh air--and return it indoors at night to avoid frost damage. In windy climates, it’s best to weigh the greenhouse down to keep it from toppling over. Putting the greenhouse together is simple with included instructions. No additional tools are required. Assembled, the greenhouse measures 63 by 27 by 18 inches. Unassembled, it measures 13-1/2 by 3 by 16 inches and weighs 12-1/5 pounds. Rumford Gardener covers this product with a lifetime warranty. --Jessica Reuling

Functional but not portable
Pros: Value Priced, looks good, functional
Cons: Somewhat flimsy, not portable once assembled
This is a nice functional greenhouse.
Setup is easy, but a little intimidating when you first open the box because there are about 50 pieces. But soon you realize it's all just long bars, short bars, plastic sides, and wire racks - and it really couldn't be simpler to put together in less than 3 minutes.
I find the greenhouse to be nice and functional. Holds starters and small plants. I haven't had the wind problem that others have described, but I keep this on my deck near the house, so maybe it's just sheltered enough from the elements to not tip over.
I know this says "Portable" but it's not really portable in assembled form. The bars/tubes don't really "snap" into place. It's more like you just layer one shelf on top of another using the bars. If you try to move this after assembly, the bars tend to fall out of place. I discovered this after assembling indoors and attempting to carry outdoors. And after I put the pieces back in place and put my plants on the shelves, I tried to budge the whole unit over a couple of feet to another spot on the deck. Again, some pieces came loose - not horribly - just to the point that I had to wedge a few bars them back into their holes. No big deal, but again, not as "portable" as the name suggests. I mean, you can disassemble and move - but you can do that with a lot of things that aren't classified as portable.
Overall, I'm happy. Good price, looks nice.
E-z solution if tips over in wind
If your greenhouse tips over in high winds, put a black solar bag of water on the bottom rack-the weight will keep from tipping over in high winds. In the day the water heats up and helps keep the inside warm at night. Hey, pretty good for a girl!
Very convenient
Frankly, I did not expect so good a product for the price.
I used plastic ties to secure wire shelves to pipes and placed an old
dishpan on bottom shelf. Blew over and broke one zipper so I used
4 tent stakes to secure it in ground.
The plastic covering is very clear and permits ample sunlight to reach
plants and heat dishpan water. I've added a thermometer and add a 1/2
gallon of boiling water to dishpan when nighttime temperature is projected to be below 30.
